Woodcut device on verso of title, at beginning of each chapter and at end, 144 woodcuts (30 x 53mm), some repeated. (Small marginal repair to K3.) Red morocco by Trautz-Bauzonnet, gilt supralibros, gilt spine-lettering, turn-ins and edges. Provenance: Edouard Rahir (morocco label) -- another unidentified armorial label -- purchased from L. Giraud-Badin, 1931.
