The last edition of Ruso's medieval text to be published, similar to the edition of 1583 and with the same dedication, but printed by Adrian Perier rather than Guillaume Auvray. Most of the illustrations are of horse's bits, but the fine figure of a horse is shown on verso of the final leaf. Mennessier de la Lance II, 469.
