Lot Essay

The gueridon was almost certainly manufactured at the Chiurazzi foundry, established in Naples in 1870 by the sculptor J. Chiurazzi. The design for this table featured in J. Chiurazzi & Fils, Naples, circa 1900, figs. 163 & 185.
