A Meissen ecuelle and cover
Circa 1745, with blue crossed-swords marks and various impressed numerals
Painted after Callot with grotesque dwarves, within cartouches of scrolls, shells and flowers, the ecuelle moulded with a pair of floral handles, the cover modelled with a flower-bud finial
The stand 19.8 cm. diam.
Together with a Meissen potpourri vase and cover, circa 1750, with blue crossed-swords mark, of baluster form with pierced domed cover, painted with sprays of flowers, encrusted with branches of flowers issuing from a branch on a rockwork mound applied with sporting hound and game birds - 22.5 cm. high (3)
