Lot Essay

Gustaf Olof Lagerbring started his military carreer as a sergeant with the Hussars as early as at the age of 2 and at 16 was a lieutenant in the Uppland Regiment. Lagerbring served his country in it's many battles of the Russo-Swedish, Finnish War and Napoleontic Wars, and, after a long carreer of 73 years, retired as one of Sweden's most distinguished and highest decorated officers.
