A GILT-BRONZE CIRCULAR MIRROR
EASTERN HAN DYNASTY (25-220)
The large knob is surrounded by four bixie separating seated deities within an outer band of semi-circles alternating with rectangles cast with characters below a canted dogtooth border and a pictorial band and narrow scroll border on the rim. Together with a silvery grey bronze circular mirror, Three Kingdoms period (220-265), the knob surrounded by three dragons cast in relief, two with cross-hatched bodies, the other an angular scroll body, which are encircled by a narrow inscription and hatchured borders below hatchured and zigzag bands on the rim.
