A LARGE AMBER AND STRAW-GLAZED POTTERY FIGURE OF A CAMEL
TANG DYNASTY (618-907)
The Bactrian camel is shown standing foursquare on a rectangular base with head turned slightly to the right and mouth open in a bray. The body is covered in a transparent straw glaze that is liberally splashed in amber.
