A BLUE AND WHITE 'PHOENIX TAIL' VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
Both the baluster body and trumpet-shaped neck are painted in tones of rich underglaze blue with scenes of fishermen in mountainous river landscapes between dentil borders at the foot and mouth rim. A double circle in underglaze blue is on the base.
