A RARE GOLD-INLAID BRONZE SWORD
EARLY WARRING STATES PERIOD, FIRST HALF 5TH CENTURY BC
The long tapering blade has beveled edges and a distinct median ridge. The guard is inlaid on either side in fine gold wire with foliate scroll and the hilt is cast with two circular flanges below a circular, dished pommel inlaid with a circular fret pattern.
