The wide, compressed body tapers sharply towards the circular foot and is cast on the shoulder with four shaped reserves containing Arabic inscriptions reserved on a stippled ground between silver wire-inlaid key-fret borders at the flattened mouth and foot. The countersunk base is cast in relief with an apocryphal Xuande four-character mark.
