LATE QING DYNASTY
The censer has a compressed body raised on three low supports surmounted by lion masks which are separated by three leafy flower stems that rise up the sides from the center of the base. The pair of large butterfly and loop handles at the rim suspend loose rings, and three further loose rings are suspended from small loops on the domed cover between a band of similar flower scroll and the ring-shaped finial. The stone is semi-translucent and of even color.
