AN UNUSUAL WHITE AND RUSSET JADEITE PENDANT
The pendant is in the shape of a white and greyish-green rectangular 'bi' carved in high relief on one side from the russet area of the stone with two chilong grasping lingzhi in their mouths as they crawl across the surface, and on the reverse with a ribbon that trails from the top through the central aperture.
2 7/8 in. (7.3 cm.) long

Private collection, United States, before 1968, and thence by descent within the family.
