A PAIR OF BLUE AND WHITE CONICAL BOWLS
SHUNZHI/KANGXI PERIOD, 17TH CENTURY
Each bowl is painted with the Eight Horses of Muwang frolicking or grazing amidst a rocky landscape, with seven around the exterior, and the eighth enclosed within a double circle in the center of the interior. The base is inscribed with an apocryphal Jiajing mark.
