A BLUE AND WHITE BRUSH POT
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The cylindrical brush pot is painted on one side with a panel of cell diaper, each cell containing a shou character inscribed in a different script. The opposite side is painted with a shaped panel enclosing a censer motif surrounded by a leafy scroll, all reserved on a diaper ground.
