Baluster on pedestal foot with gadroon borders, leaf-capped scroll handles with beaded rat-tails terminating in leaf motifs, domed cover with fluted knop finial, engraved to front with arms of Tottenham impaling Legg/Leigh/Lee, the cover with a large family crest of a lion rampant, a later presentation inscription dated 1918 under the foot
