The barrel inscribed 'TELESCOPE SIGHTING NO.38. MK 1./OS 73 GA./B.B. LTD 1942. NO 254.', on a later associated the brass and steel stand and wood tripod
29½ in. (75 cm.) long within a fitted box
And a brass binacle compass by W. Ludolph of Hamburg, mid-20th century, on gimble stand (2)
