The royal pieces and bishops as threequarter length figures, knights as horses' heads, rooks as flags and lances, together with a tapestry sand-filled cushion board
The king -- 5 1/8 in. (13 cm.) high; the pawn -- 4 3/8 in. (11 cm.) high
