The tea caddy cylindrical, the upper body engraved with two intertwined Russian initials 'P' and 'M' beneath an Imperial crown; the teapot spherical, on a circular stepped base with wood scroll handle, the hinged circular cover with wood knop finial, the tea caddy marked under base and further stamped '7' and prick-engraved 'No 7 Bl:' beneath cover and base; the teapot marked under base and further stamped '167', engraved 'No. 167' and prick-engraved 'Bl:' beneath cover and base
