Decorated in red, blue and gold lustre, the centre with a shield with the Medici family arms, with fluttering ribbons at the sides, reserved against a spotted ground and blue sky, the border with radiating triangles divided by stylised flowers, the lead-glazed reverse with a blue scroll, the footrim pierced for suspension, minor chipping to rim, slight chipping to glaze at edge of well
