Lot Essay

An attribution to Wenzel Ignaz Prasch (1708-1761) has been suggested. Active in Nuremberg, Prasch specialised in hunting subjects and scenes with animals, such as his Dogs attacking a stag (Municipal Museum, Bamberg) and Huntsmen (Museo Correr, Venice).
