Finely painted after Delaroche with Miriam surrounded by bulrushes at the river's edge, the baby Moses swaddled and peering out of his ark, a couple in the distance
12½ in. (32 cm.) high; 10 in. (25.5 cm.) wide, excluding the giltwood frame
