Cette paire de canapés estampillés de Martin Delaporte a probablement été exécutée par son neveu Martin Nicolas Delaporte, ce dernier ayant repris l'estampille de son oncle à sa mort en 1756.

En bois mouluré, sculpté et redoré, le dossier oblong flanqué de graines côtelées, les accotoirs munis de manchettes, la ceinture arrondie à l'avant reposant sur des pieds fuselés, cannelés et rudentés, l'un estampillé M. DELAPORTE sous la traverse avant, garniture de soie brochée verte à rayures
