Of typical form, the plain helmet formed of one piece of metal, gently tapering to the final point, the front with pointed peak attached with copper rivets at the brim, the nose-guard with leaf shaped finial, neck guard at the rear, incised with the St. Irene arsenal mark, finial lacking
