NORTH INDIA, SECOND HALF 18TH CENTURY
Each board decorated with a dense floral spray on black ground, the spray contained within a cusped cartouche, the spandrels with elegant black-outlined gold arabesque on red ground, green outer borders with gilt highlights, the doublures with central cusped medallion issuing pendants and surrounded by floral arabesque on yellow ground, similar red spandrels and green outer border, with worn red morocco spine, some losses to lacquer
Each board 11 1/8 x 6½in. (28.2 x 16.5cm.)
