Located in the small village of Brauneberg, up on the hill is where Oliver Haag now runs this classic Mosel estate. F. Haag owns a big part of 2 great classified growths: Brauneberger Juffer Sonnenuhr and Brauneberger Juffer. In 1971 the Juffer-Sonnenuhr vineyard was separately classified. Oliver's best wines come from this latter vineyard.
The quality of this estate shows not only in the great classic vintages but also in the more difficult harvest F. Haag often makes remarkably good wines. An achievement only the best producers make. 1985, 1988 are now still youthful and fresh. In 2006 F. Haag has presented a sensational array of well-balanced Rieslings in all the different levels.
