A classic great wine estate of 19ha in the Ruwer valley. The Ruwer valley is cooler then the Saar and Mittle Mosel giving wines with a higher natural acidity and often resulting in great Eisweins. The Karthäuserhofberg is a monopole. All bottles merely have a neck label, this tradition can be traced back as far as 1892.
