Of typical squatted form, inscribed all over in small naskh script, the densely engraved decoration depicting the zodiac in eight pointed stars between two calligraphic registers in nasta'liq script, the interior with interlocking angular straps forming hexagons and eight pointed stars, the raised center with radiating bands surrounded by figural motifs, the base inscribed with name of the owner, old inventory labels to the cavetto, remains of the original black paste inlay, minor damage to base
