Ink, gold and polychrome on paper, the first a panel with four lines of black naskh script, possibly 14th or 15th century, each line in cloudband on gold ground with polychrome floral illumination, laid down on purple cardboard with gold floral borders; the second from an illuminated manuscript, 19ll. of small black nasta'liq script arranged in four columns, on gold-speckled paper, one side with illuminated cartouche with eight lines of very elegant white thuluth script outlined in black on gold ground with floral scrolls, the folio laid down between margins from another manuscript, each individually mounted
