In the form of a bull's head, the engraved decoration with animals on dense foliated ground, with three gold-damascened medallions, the first inscribed to the forehead in nasta'liq script with the name of Sultan Nasir al-Din Shah, together with a lobed medallion below with a courtier dispatching a letter, on the reverse a mounted horseman and a lion pouncing on a gazelle, on stand
