Opaque pigments and gold on paper, the Imam and fourth Caliph 'Ali depicted seated on a floral carpet on a terrace, his two sons facing him, an angel and possibly a donor facing 'Ali, each lavishly dressed, with identification inscriptions in black nasta'liq script within illuminated cartouches above, a line of black nasta'liq script above and below, set as an album page within floral borders, minor rubbing, otherwise in good condition, mounted
