Arabic manuscript on paper, 304ff. as numbered plus two fly-leaves, each folio with 15ll. of black naskh script, with gold and polychrome roundel verse markers, sura headings in white thuluth script on gold ground within illuminated cartouches, some starts to suras with illuminated floral spray, with illuminated marginal markers in the shape of floral sprays, others markers in red thuluth script, opening bifolium heavily illuminated, colophon between floral decorated panels, with catchwords, first folio with losses and restoration, in restored Ottoman gilt and stamped brown morocco binding with flap
