Comprising Qur'an VI, sura al-an'am, Qur'an XVIII, sura al-kahf, Qur'an XXXIV, sura saba', and Qur'an XXXV, sura fatir, Arabic manuscript on paper, 25ff. plus four fly-leaves, each folio with 13ll., the first, seventh and last in larger gold or blue muhaqqaq script, bordering two panels each of 5ll. of small black naskh script, each panel within black-ruled gold frame, with gold, black and blue roundel verse markers, sura headings in white thuluth script outlined in black on gold ground with floral illumination and within blue and white borders, with numerous marginal circular medallions in blue and gold outlined in black, text within blue and black-ruled gold frame, the opening folio with "carpet" page illumination in gold and polychrome with vv.5(part)-7 of Qur'an I, sura al-fatiha, beginning of text with finely illuminated headpiece, first folio lacking, in Indian 18th or early 19th century stamped morocco binding, wormholing, folios loose in binding
