NINE QAJAR BLUE-GLAZED POTTERY DISHES AND A EWER
IRAN, LATE 18TH/19TH CENTURY
Comprising nine dishes, each with rounded profile on short ring foot, some with sloping rim, others rimless, all with black decoration under turquoise-blue glaze, one with interesting decoration of a snake and bird around foliage, the others with stylized vegetal decoration, and one blue-glazed ewer with black decoration of foliage overall, lacking spout, with restored handle, some intact, others with minor repairs, some with old collection labels to base
The largest 10 3/8in. (26.3cm.) diam.
