Lot Essay

Edmund Thomas Wyatt Ware was an important British sculptor, becoming a member of the Royal Society of British Sculptors in 1916 and acting as its vice-president between 1948-1953. He exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition a number of times.
