The Marine model is Omega's first diver's watch, launched in 1932 and consisting of a removable double case with a snap-lever fastening.

According to the archives of Omega, the original movement has been replaced by the earliest present one.

The present watch is illustrated in Omega Watches, by John Goldberger, p. 31 and in Omega A Journey through Time, by Marco Richon, p. 321.

The model is also illustrated in Die schönsten Armbanduhren vergangener Jahrzehnte by Giampiero Negretti/Franco Nencini, p. 156, in Armbanduhren - 100 Jahre Entwicklungsgeschichte by Kahlert, Mühe, Brunner, fifth edition, p. 90, pl. 182 and 183.
