A GEORGE III CUT-GLASS TWELVE-LIGHT CHANDELIER

The moulded domed corona with scalloped edge, hung with faceted drops and diamond-shaped pendants above a multi-baluster stem and urn-shaped vase, the two tiers of S-scroll branches each with shaped drip-pan, urn nozzle and simulated candle, issuing from a later shaped bowl and hung with drops, pendants and above a scalloped domed canopy hung with further drops, swags and a central faceted boss, later fitted for electricity, minor losses and replacements, the lower canopy broken and restored, the branch sockets engraved with the letters 'N' to 'Z' (excluding V)
