CIRCA 1770, BLUE M D H MARK TO REVERSE, POSSIBLY FOR HENDRIK VAN MIDDELDIJK AT HET HART
Of cartouche shape with integral moulded rocaille frame heightened in blue, yellow, iron-red, manganese and green, the centre painted in blue with a gallant and his companion promenading in a garden within a rocaille cartouche issuing flowers and foliage, pierced with a hole for suspension, glaze hairline crack to lower part, small rim chip, minor glaze flaking
