THE CABINET 18TH CENTURY, THE STAND MID-19TH CENTURY
The doors decorated with warriors in a landscape hunting a lion, with figures to the interior, enclosing ten drawers decorated with figures, animals, birds and pagodas in landscapes, the sides decorated with birds, on C-scroll putto herm supports carved with acanthus, the apron centred by kissing winged putti masks below a pierced scrolling frieze and hung with garlands, the sides with ribbon-tied and garland-hung reeds, previously with a stretcher to the reverse of the back supports
