With two gilt lion-mask fixed-ring handles to the shoulder, each with two rectangular panels of scholars and attendants in interior scenes, reserved on a ground scattered with smaller cartouches, clusters of scholars' utensils, flowers, fruit and foliage; together with three modern iron-red decorated vases, each decorated with figures in garden scenes, two with covers
The pair: 14¼ in. (36.2 cm.) high, with giltwood stands (5)
