CASE: of cartouche form with foliate scrollwork, shells and pierced trellis, a trophy emblematic of the Sciences beneath the dial, the case surmounted by a figure of Cupid
DIAL: white enamel dial with Roman numerals and arabic five-minute marks, pierced and chased gilt-brass hands
MOVEMENT: twin barrel movement, recoil anchor escapement, Brocot suspension, count wheel strike to bell, stamped with trademark of Marti
