SIGNED WHITEHOUSE, LONDON, CIRCA 1820
With three-stage barrel engraved with scrollwork and a thistle on the central section and signed 'LONDON' on the faceted breech-section, scroll engraved signed lock with pierced cock, semi-rainproof pan and roller, characteristic stock engraved with further scrollwork and thistles, ram's horn butt, button trigger, and engraved belt-hook (some light corrosion marking and wear throughout, ramrod, pricker, top-jaw, jaw-screw and safety-bolt lacking, tip of steel chipped)
