With blacked nitro barrels sleeved by Westley Richards, matted rib, 2½in. (65mm) chambers, bored approx. ½ and full choke, border and scroll engraved action with gold-inlaid '1' on the upper tang and signed 'PATENT EJECTOR' on the underside, automatic safety with gold-inlaid 'SAFE', border and scroll engraved locks each signed 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND' and with gold-inlaid cocking-indicator, border and scroll engraved underlever retaining traces of original faded blued finish, non-selective single-trigger, later figured 14 ¾in. semi-pistolgrip stock including 1½in. walnut extension (comb expertly reprofiled from raised), dark horn butt-plate, fore-end with engraved release-catch and dark horn fore-end tip, large silver escutcheon
