(70mm) chambers, bored approx. imp. cyl. in both barrels, border and scroll engraved action with carved percussion fences, floating back-action locks each engraved en suite and signed 'J. PURDEY & SONS', figured 14½in.stock, border and scroll engraved trigger-guard, and grip-safety

The makers have kindly confirmed that this gun was completed in around 1884 as a B-quality gun with 30in. barrels for a Mr Harold Buckley
