With blacked nitro barrels signed in full and respectively numbered '1' and '2' in gold on the rib, 2½in. chambers, bored approx. ¾ and full choke, actions each signed 'ROYAL HAMMERLESS EJECTOR' and 'HOLLAND'S SINGLE TRIGGER' on the underside and decorated with best bouquet and scroll engraving, locks engraved en suite and each signed 'HOLLAND & HOLLAND' and with gold-inlaid cocking-indicator, blued toplevers engraved en suite and respectively numbered '1' and '2' in gold, automatic safeties each with gold-inlaid 'SAFE', rolled-edge trigger-guards each retaining some original blued finish, well figured 15in. stocks including ¾in. rubber pad (perished), gold escutcheons engraved 'L.R.D.', fore-ends respectively numbered '1' and '2' in gold, in original brass-cornered fitted leather double gun case lined in burgundy baize, the lid with black leather trade label with gilt lettering, the exterior initialed 'T.v.H.'
