With rebrowned twist octagonal sighted barrel rifled with nine grooves and signed in full at the breech, with patent barrel connection, plain cylinder, border engraved frame, signed 'PENNELLS PATENT' on the top-flat, with sprung hammer-safety button on the left side and retaining some faded original case-hardened finish, figured walnut butt with chequered grip, border engraved mounts comprising butt-plate and flat-fronted trigger-guard, and associated Kerr-type rammer, London proof marks
