With blued octagonal sighted barrel and top-strap, the former signed in full, engraved with a band of beadwork at the muzzle and cut with multi-groove rifling, case-hardened serial numbered cylinder, border and scroll engraved frame with platinum-weighted gravitating hammer safety-stop on the right side, and retaining traces of original case-hardened finish, blued hammer and barrel locking-catch, chequered figured walnut spurred butt, and border and scroll engraved trigger-guard and butt-cap, the former retaining some original blued finish, the latter with hinged trap-cover, retaining some of its original finish throughout, no provision for a rammer, Birmingham proof marks
