With blued octagonal sighted barrel engraved with sprays of scrollwork at the breech and a band of foliage at the muzzle, blued border and scroll engraved top-strap signed by the retailer, case-hardened cylinder finely engraved with swags of scrollwork and with roped band at the front edge, blued frame profusely engraved with scrollwork and beadwork borders, bright hammer, trigger-mechanism and rammer peg-mount, blued arbor-pin, arbor-pin-catch and sprung hammer-safety, finely chequered figured walnut butt, case-hardened foliate and scroll engraved grip-strap and butt-cap, blued border and scroll engraved trigger-guard, and bright scroll engraved detachable patent rammer with fixed head, in as new unfired condition throughout, in original fitted mahogany case lined in green baize with accessories including a very fine Dixon revolver flask that never appears to have contained powder, and brass double-cavity bullet mould, the exterior with circular brass escutcheon engraved with a crest and the initials 'G.J.M.R.'
