A MUGHAL-STYLE CELADON JADE MARRIAGE BOWL
19TH CENTURY
The bowl has deeply rounded sides supported on a short floral foot, with two pierced peony flower handles with loose rings. It is finely carved in shallow relief to the interior with a lotus flower with radiating petals curling over. The exterior is decorated with two branches of blossoming lotus and scrolling foliage.
