A BLUE AND WHITE SLENDER BALUSTER VASE
KANGXI PERIOD (1662-1722)
The slender vase is moulded with a band of petals, painted with numerous scholars and attendants in exterior scenes at various leisurely pursuits, below prunus and bamboo sprays to the neck. The base bears an erotic mark of a couple in an amorous embrace within a double circle.
