A GROUP OF SIX JADE SNUFF BOTTLES
19TH CENTURY
The group includes one in white jade carved with butterflies and floral sprays, with monster masks to the sides; one in yellowish pale celadon jade with russet inclusions, carved with a bat in flight beside a branch of peaches, with Buddhist-lion masks to the sides; one carved in white jade to depict a leafy branch bearing melons; a plain white jade bottle of irregular form with russet skin; another in white jade in the form of an archaistic vase; and the last in white jade carved in the form of a fish.
The largest 3 1/8 in. (8.1 cm.) long, all with stoppers (6)
